SCDC develops low-income housing in Southern’s service area that encompasses a variety of types ranging from subsidized multi-family rental to subsidized elderly rental to unsubsidized rental. A variety of funding partners are utilized including HUD, ADFA, USDA Rural Development, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Federal Historical Tax Credits, private lenders, grants, and our own equity.
